CAM CHAIN TENSIONER MANUAL

CAM CHAIN TENSIONER MANUAL

Cam Chain Tensioner or called tensioner is a component on a motorcycle engine that functions to maintain the tension of the cam chain so that the sound of the cam chain is more silent. In general, OEM cam chain tensioners are automatic in applying pressure to the cam chain by utilizing a spring in it. For certain cases, the OEM tensioner does not work on modified engines such as engine stroke up, because in this condition the length of the cam chain is no longer using a longer cam chain. This manual tensioner can be adjusted according to the needs of the rider.
